About Duncan’s compositions:

Duncan's interest in composition began whilst in high school and over the years this interest has developed into a passion. Duncan has received composition instruction by composers such as Lindsay Vickery, Iain Grandage and Cat Hope. Though familiar with writing for a variety of instruments and ensembles, these days Duncan tends to focus his creative energies on writing for guitar, or ensembles including guitar. Duncan's compositions have enjoyed much local success and his music is increasingly being performed by a wide range of local artists, ensembles and music organisations.
