06-07/03/2010 Exhibiting at the Dusk Bridal Fair.
Bridal fair was first established in 1994 and has sustained a continual growth to now be considered one of Australia’s largest and most successful bridal events of the calendar year. In 2009 - 10,000 visitors enjoyed the 200 exhibits over two days. Bridal fair is the ideal event for brides, mother of the brides and wedding organisers to see and gather the very latest information and ideas for this special day.Time: 9:30am – 5:00pm both days. Venue: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tickets: $15 (children under 15 are free). CD’s will be available for purchase at the event.
13/04/2010 Cancion y Danza – lunchtime concert.
Come and experience a concert featuring the guitar in Dance and Song, presented by Duncan Gardiner and fellow guitar students of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Time: 1:00pm. Venue: Music Auditorium (WAAPA @ ECU Mt Lawley). Tickets: FREE.
18/04/2010 Duo Diavolo – Sunday Serenade.
Guitar and violin team, Duo Diavolo, (Duncan Gardiner and Dora Maria) will perform a Sunday Serenade for the City of Joondalup. The City’s popular Sunday Serenades Concert Series runs from April to December and will resume in April 2010. The concerts feature live performances by outstanding Western Australian musicians. The Duo will present a delightful selection of music to move and engage your senses. Time: 2:00pm. Venue: Civic Chambers (Boas Ave, Joondalup). Tickets: $12, $10 (complimentary refreshments served). This musical cross-over event celebrates the multiplicity of music in contemporary guitar-playing, and brings together Jazz and Classical guitarists alike, including Freddie Grigson (Jazz), Jonathan Paget (Classical), Duncan Gardiner, and a host of talented WAAPA guitarists.
