21/08/2010. Of Dreams and Fantasy – CD Launch:
You are warmly invited to attend the official CD launch of acclaimed guitarist Duncan Gardiner. His album contains a selection of evocative pieces that conjure up dreams, fantasies, memories and images. The concert will feature live performances of highlights from the CD along with exciting new works. Duncan will be joined in the concert by fellow musicians performing on instruments such as violin, flute, bass, percussion, piano and vocals. Time: doors open @ 7:00pm. 27/06/2010. Scott Wellstead (tenor) and Duncan Gardiner (guitar) in Concert:
The WA Chapter of UNIFEM is delighted to have the opportunity to host a concert featuring internationally renown tenor, Scott Wellstead. Originally a local talent, he is returning to Perth to perform a charity concert for which proceeds are being raised for the United National Development Fund for Women Haiti earthquake appeal. He will be supported on the occasion by acclaimed classical guitarist, Duncan Gardiner. Duncan will present a range of provocative original compositions as well as pairing up with Scott for a selection of sublime works for voice and guitar. Time: 2:00pm. Back by popular demand, Duncan will perform a recital of exquisite music in the ethereal surrounds of the St Georges Cathedral.
