Busy Year So Far
It has been a very busy year so far! To date, I’ve performed in at least 12 major concerts and I’ve gone through enough music to stock a library! This month (June) features another two concerts plus two more where I’m directing school ensembles. The rest of the year will be brimming with new ideas and lots more fantastic music. To start with, I’m teaming up with the gorgeous mezzo-soprano, Annabelle Southern, to perform some delightful 18th and 19th century music for guitar and voice of some pretty big composers (Beethoven, Haydn, Weber and Spohr). Secondly, I will continue my recent collaboration with the fantastic cellist, Guenevere Measham. We’ll be spicing it up with some really great Spanish and South American music including plenty of Piazzolla!
Additionally, I really hope to get started on my second album. This will be a big project featuring the talents of many musicians from pianists to cellists, singers to violinists. The album will most likely be made up of solely original works. I’m so looking forward to bringing even more of my music to you and I’m particularly excited to bring you some of my newly–composed love songs. Watch this space!
